Happy Cinco De Mayo!
Hello there friendly web visitor. 
As you will notice the banner is properly updated and reflecting the Spring/Summer vibe. Actually I can’t wait for Spring to be over with because my allergies have been killing me, Just terrible! Every year news reports say the same old things, “pollen is at an all-time-high this spring…” well this time they’re not kidding! I have been a mess this year, and contrary to what one may think, it is actually worse when it rains.
A couple more weeks and I should be in the clear.
Well, whatever you have planned for Cinco De Mayo, I hope you have a good time. And if you’ve got nothing planned I hope you have a good time doing that too. That’s probably what I’ll be doing. I mean, it is Monday, not like I’m going to be hitting a bar anytime soon with the way gas and beer prices have been going.
Just a quick note. This is on the downer side folks, brace yourselves… A long time ago I posted about Spud and Lou, a couple of friendly neighborhood cats my wife and I knew some years ago. You can find that piece here. Sadly, we have learned that Spud has gone on to join his brother Lou, who died a few years earlier. Hey, we love cats, it’s sad to see our feline friends go. Spud, you will be missed pal!
