Here we go again, we're on the brink of tipping into a new year. By the time you read this the ball may have already dropped. So, what's your Resolution? The usual? Quit Smoking (been there), lose weight, cut down on the beer?
I'm going to try a new approach. A resolution in the sense of clarity. I'm going for a higher resolution in life. A wider, clearer picture than what I've been used to. Starting in 2003 I'm going to read more, experience more and write more! I'm going to double, maybe even triple my resolution. I'm talkin' MegaPixels here folks!
Anything can happen in this world, but if I sit on my duff nothing is going to happen to me at all! After all that has happened in the world (and in my life) over the past two years, I'm realizing how special our lives are. I want to get out there and be a part of this world! I want to stop wasting time and get the mothballs out of my brain!
We often spend too much time grumbling and being miserable with our lives (stuck in our own little caves). Sure, sometimes things don't go our way, but we need to expand our horizons. WE need to EXPAND, it won't happen on its own.
I can't tell you how to run your lives, that's up to you. But I can sure run mine, and I'm aiming high. If you get a lift from my drift that's great. If you're a grumbler you should consider adjusting your picture (maybe change the channel). Color adds wonder, a greater resolution can add depth. Pump it up!
